2.The Silk Route Car rally from Kolkata to Kunming organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and supported by the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Forum for Regional Cooperation (BCIM) was flagged off on 22 February 2013 from Helipad Ground in Salt Lake Stadium, West Bengal. In its 3000 kilometer long journey the car rally passed from North-East of India to Bangladesh than entered back to North-East and then to Myanmar to head towards China.
