‘their’ into ‘his’. ‘Every’ takes singular adjective’ ‘his’ and not ‘their’.
4.(C); Remove
other’. ‘The Pacific’ is chosen out of ‘all the oceans’.
5.(A); Add
‘themselves’ after ‘enjoyed’. If enjoy’ is not followed by an ‘object’, it must
be followed by a reflexive pronoun.
6.(B); Change
‘hanged’ (फांसी चढ़ाना) into ‘hung’ (टांगना)
7.(B); Change
‘are’ into ‘is’. Nuclear fission is a ‘singular’ subject and hence will take
‘singular verb’.
8.(A); Change
‘the news appeared’ into ‘did the news appear’ or ‘had the news appeared’. No sooner’ is
followed by ‘inversion’.
9.(B); Remove
‘as’. ‘Appointed’ is not followed by ‘as’.
10.(A); Change
‘Prices’ into ‘Price’.
11.(B); Change
‘year’ into ‘year’. ‘House’ will be preceded by ‘three hundred year old’
that works as an adjective that qualifies noun 'house’.
12.(C); Change
‘spend’ into ‘spent’. The whole-sentence is in past tense.
13.(A); Remove
‘on’. The verb ‘emphasis’ is not followed by ‘on’.
14.(B); Change
“wanted’ into ‘liked’. Here he is not in need of the paintings. Hence the verb
‘wanted’ is not appropriate.
15.(B); Change
“was understanding’ into ‘understood’
16.(B); Remove
‘then’. ‘If is not followed by ‘then’
17.(C); Change
‘students’ into ‘student’. ‘Union must be preceded by a singular noun because
when a noun works as an adjective, it must be in singular form.
