27 is divided by 13

so Required remainder = remainder by 27/13 = 1

2. (c)

Sum of digital at odd places of 854A9A = A+A+5 =2A+5

Sum of digits at even places of 854A9A =8+4+9 = 21

so(2A+5)-21 = 0 OR 11 or 22

so 2A+5-21 = 0

2A =16

A  = 8
