Let cost price of a horse and a carriage respectively be Rs.x and Rs.(20,000-x)
According to question,
x X 20/100 -(20000-x)X10/100 = 20,000 X 2/100
20x - 200000 +10x = 40000
30x = 240000
x = 8000
So cost price of the horse = Rs 8000
