SSC has changed the pattern for SSC CGL 2016 Examination with
addition of TIER III.This time SSC CGL will conduct online . Having
command in Quantitative aptitude will create an edge in overall merit
list and ensures one's selection .Quantitative aptitude importance can
be seen in TIER II examination. Quantitative aptitude
is one of the toughest part of SSC . Most of the candidates have a myth
that they are not good in Maths section and their selection in SSC CGL
is difficult .Although Quantitative aptitude is challenging in nature
but at the same time it is considered as the most scoring area
especially in SSC CGL paper and can be the deciding factor for the
candidates in the final merit list.

Here we will discuss how to master mathematics in precise and time bound
manner for SSC CGL exam. Quantitative aptitude is all about to test
the ability of students, how to play with numbers???????. If one know the basic concepts of Mathematics, then this section will fetch a great score in SSC CGL.
Questions in Quant section can be divided into two categories:
1. Easy Questions
Students must start their preparation with easy questions as it will
improve their confidence and help them to attend tough questions step by
step.These questions are generally easy to solve, require less time and
one can easily score high marks within less time period.
In this section Students must focus on -
Arithmetic - Percentage , Ratio & Proportions, Problems on Ages,, Averages, Profit and Loss, Time & Work and Pipe & cistern Time & Distance and Boat, Simple Interest/ Compound Interest, Area & volume and Data Interpretation.
2. Time Consuming Questions
Questions in this section are difficult than above and may require
little bit more time to solve.Most of the questions in this section are
tricky and required a lot of practiced and proper accuracy.
